PAYMENT INFORMATION

When an order is submitted with credit card details. Whitworths Marine & Leisure does NOT charge the credit card at the submission of the order. Payment is only taken when your order is ready to be shipped.

If your order is placed outside of Australia, Whitworths Marine & Leisure may request payment be made via a bank deposit instead of debiting the provided credit card.

FREIGHT & DELIVERY

We deliver using both Australia Post and commercial couriers.

Orders that contain Dangerous Goods, liquids, items over one metre in length, items over 22kg, and large size items cannot be sent with Australia Post. These orders will be sent by commercial couriers and cannot be delivered to PO Boxes or Post Offices.

Products marked with the "Truck" symbol have been classed as being very heavy, bulky and/or awkward to freight. Orders including products with this icon may incur additional freight costs and/or increased delivery time.

Products marked with the "Flame" symbol have been classed as being dangerous or hazardous to freight. Orders containing dangerous or hazardous materials such as fire extinguishers, aerosols, solvents, paint, or corrosive chemicals will incur an additional $28.00 surcharge per order within Australia. Please note we may not be able to deliver Dangerous Goods to all overseas destinations.

Please note that flares cannot be shipped due to government regulations.

Overseas, offshore islands and distant mainland locations may involve additional charges. We shall advise on receipt of order.

UNATTENDED ADDRESSES

Whitworths Marine & Leisure does NOT offer packages to be left at unattended addresses. Carriers are required to obtain a signature at the point of delivery. To avoid disappointment set your shipping address to your place of work or similar if you cannot confirm your home address will be attended at delivery. Carriers cannot call ahead to confirm delivery date and/or time.

If your nominated shipping address is unattended at the time of delivery, the carrier will leave a card in your letterbox or at your door. If Australia Post is used as the carrier, they will notify you that your order is available for collection at the local Post Office. If a commercial courier is used as the carrier, they will leave a card to arrange a re-delivery. If an "attempted delivery fee" is charged by the courier, Whitworths Marine & Leisure reserves the right to recover this fee by charging your credit card number.
