Absorbs Oil and Fuel - Not Water!

The SpilMax® Oil Only absorbent pads adsorb hydrocarbon based liquids on both land and water.
Being hydrophobic, these pads will float once they become fully saturated making them ideal for use during wet weather or on water borne spills.

This pack contains 4 pads at 430mm x 480mm each, made from Polypropylene.

  • Non toxic, flame resistant and light weight
  • Ideal for situations where you need to absorb oils but not water
  • Will not deteriorate or sink when fully saturated
  • Absorbs a wide variety of petrochemicals and petroleum based solvents without degrading or reacting
  • Will not tear under extreme industrial use

Product Applications

  • Clean engine leaks: Pads can be placed under the engine to soak up any fuel leaks or to wipe down the engine area.
  • Place under the fuel tank: Pads can be used placed under fuel tanks to absorb any spills during refill or in the event of a fuel leak.
  • Absorb spills on water: Pads are hydrophobic in nature, meaning they will float on water and still absorb any oil or fuel spills.

The Sydney-to-Perth rail link is currently closed due to heavy rain and flooding. The Melbourne-to-Adelaide rail link is also closed due to damage caused by a train derailment.
