Carbo ratchets allow sailors to hand-hold loaded lines and offer balance between holding power and controlled easing and where size and weight are critical.

Nylon resin sideplates are densely packed with long glass fibres for a compact block with a high strength-to-weight ratio. Machined aluminium sheaves are hardkote anodised for strength and corrosion resistance.

Eight facets hold line securely. Free-rolling ball bearings, sheave and sideplates UV stabilized with black additive for maximum protection.
