This sound insulation foam is an acoustic grade polyether polyurethane foam with a reinforced aluminium facing. It is designed to obtain maximum sound absorption per given thickness through the uniform cell structure of the polyurethane foam. The reinforced aluminium facing offers protection against petrol, grease, oils and offers a non-flammable surface and also enhances the acoustic characteristics in the low-frequency range.

This foam is a highly effective sound absorber with a tough, wear resistance and impermeable surface for applications such as to control the noise of inboard engines on cruisers, generators, compressors, hydraulic pumps and duct linings.

The application side has comprised of a highly flexible extensional damping material with a self-adhesive layer for easy installation.
